Adina Keller, MD, FACOG, and Jeffrey Keller, MD, FACS, FAAP, of CareMount Medical, were honored at Northern Westchester Hospital’s (NWH) annual gala for their clinical excellence and leadership roles at the hospital. The physicians have taken care of patients in the community for over two decades and are committed to medical excellence and patient-centered care.

Dr. Adina Keller has dedicated her professional life to women’s health and cancer prevention. As a board-certified OB/GYN with CareMount Medical and Associate Chief of OB/GYN at NWH, Dr. Keller is a champion of cancer prevention. She has made it her mission to educate the community about health, wellness and cancer prevention.

Dr. Jeffrey Keller is board-certified in otolaryngology/head and neck surgery and is a pediatric otolaryngologist at CareMount Medical. He has devoted his career to taking care of children. Dr. Keller began working at NWH in 2005 and is currently the Director of Pediatric Otolaryngology for the Mount Sinai Health System at CareMount Medical.



Scott D. Hayworth, MD, FACOG

Scott D. Hayworth, MD, FACOG, President and CEO of CareMount Medical, has been named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s 2018 Hospital and Health System Physician Leaders to Know listing. This listing, honoring 112 individuals this year, recognizes hospital and health system presidents, CEOs, C-suite executives and leaders from across the country who have committed their careers to advancing healthcare access and delivery both as clinicians and strategic leaders.

Dr. Hayworth joined CareMount Medical in 1988 as an OB/GYN. In 1998, Dr. Hayworth was appointed President and CEO. Unique among other healthcare CEOs in the country, he also maintained a clinical practice in obstetrics and gynecology for his first 17 years as CEO.



Marion Candida Hayes

Middletown Medical announces the addition of licensed family nurse practitioner Marion Candida Hayes, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, to its team of healthcare professionals. Hayes will be serving Middletown Medical patients within the Cardiology Department alongside Rishi Bajaj, MD.

Hayes is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She has served in the medical profession as both a nurse practitioner and a registered nurse and has worked in a variety of medical specialties throughout her career, including gastroenterology, progressive care, primary care and urgent care.

Hayes earned her Master of Science in Nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, New York. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount Saint Mary College and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York.


Middletown Medical has announced the addition of two new providers. Brandi Aquino, PA-C, will join the Neurology Department, and Ashley Takacs, PA, will be a new provider with the Urgent Care team.

Aquino earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Northeastern University in Boston and holds a physician assistant license in New York and South Carolina. Additionally, she received a Bachelor of Arts in biology and chemistry from Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, New York. Aquino is a certified physician assistant, with credentials from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Takacs earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. She received her Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience from Northeastern University in Boston and her Associate of Science in General Biology and Chemistry from Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie, New York. Takacs is certified by the NCCPA.



Dean L. Bloch, MD

HealthAlliance welcomes local OB-GYN Dean L. Bloch, MD, back to its hospitals in Kingston.

In his new role as Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Bloch oversees the Family Birth Place childbirth center at HealthAlliance Hospital: Broadway Campus and sees patients at WMCHealth Advanced OB-GYN’s Kingston location at the Broadway Medical Pavilion at 373 Broadway.

Board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Bloch received his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington, now the university’s Robert Larner, MD, College of Medicine, and completed an OB-GYN residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, now NewYork–Presbyterian Hospital. He practiced at HealthAlliance predecessor hospitals Kingston Hospital and Benedictine Hospital from 2000 to 2010 and was most recently part of Health Quest Medical Practice in Rhinebeck.



Ravi S. Shah, MD, and Ronen Harel, DO, during the American Cancer Society’s Real Men Wear Pink event

For the second year, Crystal Run Healthcare oncologists Ronen Harel, DO, and Ravi S. Shah, MD, participated in Real Men Wear Pink, the American Cancer Society’s (ACS) all-male fundraiser to raise awareness and money for breast cancer research. In 2017, they collectively raised nearly $8,000 for the ACS, landing them in the top six among participants.



Rocco A. Chiappini, MD

Physiatrist Rocco A. Chiappini, MD, a specialist in restoring movement and function to people disabled by disease or injury, has joined Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth) as Regional Director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), overseeing the PM&R departments at HealthAlliance Hospitals in Kingston and MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, all members of WMCHealth.

In his role, Dr. Chiappini — board-certified in PM&R, with a subspecialty in brain-injury medicine — oversees the creation of therapy plans to restore the health and functional abilities of people after illness or injury.

Dr. Chiappini received his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia, now VCU Medical Center, in Richmond. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla and a residency in physiatry at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore in a joint program with Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Dr. Chiappini lives in Rhinebeck.



Joseph DiVestea

The Putnam Hospital Center Foundation honored longtime Trustee Joseph DiVestea and celebrated the transformation of the hospital’s Emergency Department at its 2018 Moonlight Ball.

DiVestea is recognized for his leadership and commitment to Putnam Hospital Center. A native of Putnam County, DiVestea has dedicated his life to community service, most recently parlaying his financial experience to serve as treasurer of the Health Quest Board of Trustees. He was on the Putnam Hospital Center Board of Trustees from 2001 to 2007, serving as its Chair from 2004 to 2006.


Crystal Run Healthcare announces the addition of five new providers to the practice:

Andrew M. Garcia, MD, earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla and completed his residency in ophthalmology at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in New York, New York. He completed fellowship training in glaucoma at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven. Dr. Garcia provides care to patients in Middletown and Rock Hill.

Jill McLaughlin, FNP-C, completed her Post-Master’s Certificate in Family Health as a family nurse practitioner at Binghamton University in Binghamton, New York. She is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and will provide care to patients in Rock Hill.

Archana Durga Narla, MD, earned her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. She completed her residency in internal medicine and fellowship training in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. Dr. Narla is board-certified in internal medicine, specializing in endocrinology, and provides care to patients in West Nyack.

Manish S. Noticewala, MD, earned his medical degree from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University in New York. He completed fellowship training in orthopedic sports medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Noticewala provides care to patients in Rock Hill.

Larisa Tsaur, MD, earned her medical degree from Moscow School of Medicine and Dentistry in Moscow and completed her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Dr. Tsaur specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation and provides care to patients in West Nyack.
